Responsibilities:
- Your core responsibility is to both strategically and operationally grow our Publisher and Advertiser portfolio in India (and potentially other markets in the future)
- You identify, classify, prioritize and approach promising new Publishers and Advertisers for direct partnerships
- You negotiate (revenue share, e/CPM, pricing etc.) and close strategic deals with new partners
- You onboard and develop strong relationships with Publisher and Advertiser partners
- You analyse and optimize partner performance and manage the accounts
- You conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and new opportunities for business growth
- You work closely with internal teams in Berlin, Bengaluru and the US, incl. Technical Account Management, Ad Operations and Product
- You build your own team from scratch over time
Requirements:
- Highly successful track record of 4-6 years work experience in publisher (programmatic) ad sales / business development
- Ad operations and/or demand-side-sales experience a plus
- Established networks to key Indian publishers
- Relationships to ad networks and demand-side parties (agencies / trading desks, brands) is a strong plus
- Experience and proficiency in working with leading ad tech platforms
- Intricate understanding of publishers yield optimization techniques
- Customer and sales-orientated personality; highly motivated, efficient and results- oriented working style
- Demonstrated ability and motivation to thrive and make a successful career in a fast-paced, demanding environment
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English; fluency in regional languages a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills and a good sense for business opportunities
