About Us:
SBI Cards is a joint venture between State Bank of India and GE Capital to offer Indian consumers extensive access to a wide range of world-class, value-added payment products and services. The partners have set up two joint venture companies to develop a credit card business in India -- SBI Cards & Payment Services Pvt. Ltd., which focuses on the marketing and distribution of SBI Card and GE Capital Business Processes Management Services Pvt. Ltd., which handles the technology and processing needs of SBI Card.
Role Summary/Purpose:
- The role is responsible for developing and implementing processes such as talent assessment, strategic staffing, pipeline development and organization activities within the business segment
Essential Responsibilities:
- Participating in strategic HR planning and ensuring alignment with the overall business strategy
- Implementing organizational design and development, leadership development, staffing and coaching
- Conducting periodic organization needs assessment
- Leading the annual talent review (Session C) process
- Leading organizational change initiatives, succession planning and coordination of communication for key organization changes
- Implementing interventions as a result of the bi-annual Opinion Survey aimed at enhancing the employee culture of the organization
- Implementing initiatives aimed at driving HR functional excellence within the business
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.
- Advanced degree in human resources preferred.
- 8-10 years of experience in the Human Resources function with a minimum of 3 years experience as a Generalist HRM will be preferred
- Strong facilitation, coaching, influencing and problem solving skills.
- Ability to objectively analyze current practices, identify improvement opportunities, build consensus and drive implementation
- Strong conflict resolution skills & ability to work independently; manage competing priorities & meet tight deadlines
- Strong working knowledge of HR policies, processes & practices.
- Outstanding communication, leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with people at all levels of the organization
