Operations & Marketing Manager - eCommerce Startup
A fast growth FMCG startup, that is scaling its E-commerce business in India. Candidates MUST have an Ecommerce Consumer brand experience.
Key responsibilities :
Operations :
- Work with CEO to create and implement high-level strategy of the day to day operations of the company
- Assist the CEO in fundraising activities
- Work with the CEO to create and modify business plans for the efficient performance of the company
- Create and implement processes and quality checkpoints to ensure smooth functioning of all components of the supply chain, R&D and sales/marketing
- Lead and motivate teams in multiple departments to ensure company functions as planned
- Establish and maintain infrastructure for the company as it scales
- Plan and budget manufacturing with partner companies based on sales forecast
- Work with the C suite to allocate budgets for different departments and ensure the company is optimizing its spends while maintaining product quality (supervising purchase decisions, manufacturing schedule etc)
- Understand that in an early-stage company ready to scale, things will move fast and you have to be ready to take on whatever comes at you
Marketing :
- Work to build brand awareness and increase overall sales of the brand
- Manage and direct all aspects of digital marketing
- Create, implement and track marketing budget to ensure efficient ROI
- Regularly track customer perception and reviews and improve metrics
- Develop and implement cross channel sales and campaigns to ensure top-line targets are met
- Brainstorm and implement strategic collaborations
Qualifications and Experience :
- MBA from a leading institution
- 10+ years experience in a startup, E-Commerce or digital marking led business
- Deep consumer orientation and an ability to communicate in a voice the consumer understands
- Excellent market research and media planning skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Results orientated attitude
