Management, Operation and Maintenance Contract for NWC North Cluster

Job Title : O&M Manager (Northern Boarder)

Reports to : General Director

Summary :

Managing and overseeing the operation & maintenance services in the 3 main cities and 50 villages of the northern border area of Saudi Arabia. A population of 405,119 capita and 33,758 customer connections.

The O&M activities cover the following:

- Number of wells 164

- Number of water treatment plants 31

- Number of tanks 203

- Number of STP <50,000 m3/day) 3

- Number of sewage pumping station 10

- Length of water networks 1,333 km (<300mm

- 451 km (>300mm)

- Length of Sewer Networks 571 KM (<300mm)

- 73 KM (>300mm)

- Length of TSE Networks 0 km (<300mm)

- 0.6 lm (>300mm)

- Other assets TBD

Duties and responsibilities :

- Manage the operation and maintenance of water supply and distribution system

- Manage the operation and maintenance of wastewater collection and treatment system

- Manage customer services

- Manage water demand, leakage control and NRW

- Provide support services in relation to O&M

- Carry out Consortium policies and procedures to meet target KPI's

- Carry out programs to select, train and advance skills of NWC

- Carry out all billing, collections and customer service functions

- Carry out and coordinate with asset management team the update of the asset information system, GIS and asset register

- Compliance with NWC polices, procedures and standards

- Oversee and manage water qualities laboratory

- Supervise and ensure implantation of Safety & health procedures/policies

- Others as directed by the General Director, Consortium Management and Client (NWC)

Education : B. SC. Degree in Engineering

Experience :

- Minimum 15 years of experience in water sector

- Writing / Speaking fluent English is a must.

- Strong knowledge in water & waste network management

- Strong knowledge in leakage detection and NRW management

- Knowledge of water and wastewater treatment plants
