Manager - Operations - Energy/Electricity

Position Summary:

We seek a highly motivated and dynamic Manager in our Gurgaon office to lead and manage our work in electricity markets.

The selected candidate will contribute to the development of innovative, accurate, timely, and high-quality outputs and services, typically working on multiple projects with our clients. The selected candidate will also have an opportunity to apply experience and academic knowledge, and interact with experts and clients in the field, while continuing to build content knowledge and consulting skills. Candidate would also be responsible to manage and guide junior team members for developing and delivering quality outputs

Position responsibilities:

As an Energy managers, chief responsibilities will be to:

- Leading energy requests for proposals and making recommendations for energy purchasing to large industrial organizations

- Producing and performing client specific analysis

- Maintaining Schneider tools/models

- Extensive quantitative and industry analysis required for managing clients and assignments.

- Production of energy market reports and publications

- Contribute in generating new business (research on new ideas, assistance in proposal writing, business development presentations etc.)

- Managing and leading junior team members to develop quality outputs and maintain client relations

Essential skills, qualifications and requirements:

- Master's degree in Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, Operations Research or Business Administration

- 7 years of experience. Experience in operation roles for power, Renewable, fuel or sustainability services desirable.

- Demonstrate excellent quantitative analysis skills with an interest in energy sector

- Possess advanced Microsoft Office Excel and Access skills and have the desire to work in a dynamic and diverse team environment.

- Strong interest in economics / finance and the energy industry

- Team management and leadership skills

- Exceptional data and web research skills

- Ability to work independently and coordinate with supervisory staff in India and US

- Excellent Microsoft office skills specially excel, word and power point

- Excellent written and oral communication skills

- Must be organized, detail oriented, and have the ability to prioritize and multi-task, and work under strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment

- Ability to multitask and work on multiple assignments at a time
