Roles and responsibilities:

- Establishing the Teacher Training Institute

a) Driving admissions for Teacher Training Institute

b) Program delivery of Teacher Training Institute

- Business analysis for Academics Department and Human Resources Department

- Department-level budget making for Academics and Human Resources

- Executing strategic initiatives in Academics department and Human Resources Department

- Process design for Academics Department and Human Resources Department

About the Firm:

K-12 Techno Services Pvt. Ltd. is a leading education management services company that operates and manages over 50 schools: 42 in AP, 5 in Bangalore and 3 in Mumbai this year. We are aggressively expanding in Bangalore and Mumbai and expect to set up nearly 10 schools each year in these and other tier-1 cities across India.

We provide our end-to end services through service contracts with trusts that own the schools - in that sense, we effectively manage and operate the entire school. We are pioneers in bringing professional management to K12 education in India.

Our goal is expansion through standardisation of quality - in this context, we help re-brand the school and take over its entire operations, marketing and communications. Standardisation of academic delivery is ensured through our Central Academics Team, which conducts its own research into leading education practices and designs our own curriculum, textbooks and lesson plans with micro details.

We are currently funded through the VC route - our first tranche of investment was by Seqouia Capital -SONG in 2010, followed by Sequoia again in 2011 and Navneet Publications, with whom we have strategic alliances.

We are currently operating with 2 brands - Gowtham Model Schools (GMS) in Andhra Pradesh (40+ schools providing state board syllabus) and Orchids - The International Schools (OIS) (pan-India brand of 10+ schools providing CBSE syllabus).
