Manager - Risk Management

Location: Pune

Role Responsibilities:

This role looks into Enterprise/Operational Risk Management.

- Implementing an overall operational risk management process for business units

- Conduct & monitor risk assessment, which involves analyzing risks as well as identifying, describing and estimating the operational risks affecting the business;

- Conduct risk evaluation, which involves comparing estimated risks with criteria established by the organization

- Establishing and quantifying the business process's 'risk appetite', i.e. the level of risk they are prepared to accept

- Define Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) for the identified operational risks in collaboration with various stakeholders / process owners

- Risk reporting in an appropriate way for different audiences

- Provide support, education and training to staff to build risk awareness within the business units

- Ensure that risk management staff is properly supervised, performs risk assessment with planned approach and within agreed time frames

Academic Qualification: CA / MBA (Finance)

Professional Background:

- 5-6 years of risk management experience post qualification including 2 years in managerial position

- Independent, analytical and positive mind, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to deal with people at different levels

- A detailed knowledge of the general tools and techniques of risk management

- Good presentation and report writing skills

Soft Skills Required:

- Detail Orientation and Analytic abilities

- Excellent man management and organizational skills

Role Objective:

The incumbent will primarily focus on safeguarding the organization, its employees, customers, goodwill, assets and the interests of stakeholders by identifying and managing all threats/areas of exposure to the achievement of its business objectives.
