Manager - Online Advertising Operations

This individual will be responsible to manage a team dealing with online advertising campaigns through DART (DFP) Including; reviewing Solbright/Fivia Data push, creative set ups, Quality Checks, Campaign delivery monitoring and optimization using optimization reports, screenshots, troubleshooting and interacting closely with the NYC teams on a regular basis.

- The individual will also be hands on with respect to the day to day activities handled by the team.

- To start with, the individual will be handling daily tasks, such as: screenshots for ad / campaign launch, setting up house ads and Consumer Marketing ads and managing a team of traffickers / campaign managers.

- The Individual will also have to be in close contact with the Time Inc. NY counterparts to ensure timely completion of tasks and high quality in the services rendered. This position reports to the Sr. Manager - Ad

- Manage ad trafficking, ad creation, QA, and reporting

- Monitor campaigns throughout lifecycle, communicating with account managers, creative agencies and vendors on issues as needed

- Optimize campaigns, including reviewing reports and making suggestions for improved performance

- Work closely with sales, marketing, editorial, design, and tech as well as on the creation and implementation of custom advertising solutions

- Oversight of high impact calendar and inventory reservation and management

- Provide pre-implementation and post-implementation support to sales/agencies.

- 7 - 11 years of experience in ad serving and ad management technologies such as Doubleclick for Publishers (DFP), OpenX, ADTECH, etc.

- Minimum if 3 - 4 years of people management experience having handled a team of at least 3 - 10 traffickers.

- Experience using third party Ad Serving vendors like Doubleclick Studio, MediaMind, Pointroll etc.

- Experience working with mobile Rich Media vendors.

- Familiarity with Internet programming and debugging; familiarity with common browser-based debugging tools (LiveHTTP Headers, FireBug, Charles, Fiddler)

- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities, along with an ability to collaborate cross-functionally

- Good understanding of how an ad-network functions

- Strong Technical Knowledge, Superb general troubleshooting skills and strong attention to detail.
