We have been retained by our client in digital journalism which offers a sharp take on the world, and guides people through topics ranging from politics, policy and entertainment, to sports, business, food etc. It is a compelling combo of content, tech and distribution, developing high-value digital journalism, storytelling, and advertising at scale.
It is a start up organization and was established last year.
Job Title : Manager- Online Ad Sales
Job Location : Bangalore
Responsibilities :
- Engage and strategize with senior level executives at agencies / client companies to demonstrate how The Quint can add value to their business.
- Develop and cultivate deep relationships with client senior executives at SVP, VP and CMO levels.
- Identify and understand trends within client markets and industries.
- Hit target revenue quota.
- Pitch new business to digital & other agencies and direct clients.
- Track expiring contracts and negotiate to retain & grow accounts.
- Regularly report advertising sales revenue, sales and inventory forecasting and KPI & other analysis (CPM, CPC, etc.).
- Proactively provide competition client & industry specific research / data / information.
- Update and create sales proposals.
- Identify, manage & drive the team.
The ideal candidate will come with more than 2 years of experience in sales of online space or advertisements.
