Key Responsibilities:

The candidates focus will be on media planning, buying, optimization and performance analysis across multiple mediums including television, print, and others, to help determine the optimal channel mix for future and current campaigns, optimize ROI on investments and suggest the optimal media mixes while negotiating to maximize efficiency for investments being made.

- The candidate needs to possess a strong ability to take a brief and convert that into a plan

- The candidate will be responsible for managing media agencies and other partners in order to achieve mass media goals.

- The candidate will work closely with the marketing teams, and business finance teams and support teams to establish and implement mass media best practices, create rigorous analytical processes, and produce cost-effective advertising across channels.

- The successful candidate will draw upon their project management experience to ensure we are on-air, on-time and on-budget across multiple campaigns and initiatives while innovating at a break-neck speed.

- Developing test and learn scenarios to continue to innovate and expand media mix

- Manage budgets and timelines for media programs

- Monitor and analyse key media buy metrics, quality, and campaign performance

- Establish post-campaign analysis and optimization efforts to ensure the efficiency of the media plans for future. Come up with new ideas for Offline Branding and User Acquisition.

- Generating ideas for Brand Management & brand communication

- Create higher profile of visibility by seeking strategic print, outdoor and other media partnerships

- Focus on alliances that contribute to readership and drive PR mileage

Operational Responsibilities:

- Execute brand and sponsor activities on-ground, ensuring optimum cost management.

- BTL/ Field marketing/ promotions/ brand activation.

- Regular reporting from and to other cities on brand developments and activations. Needs to be a facilitator of information between Mumbai and rest of the cities

- Set benchmarks in process compliance

- Booking & Releasing of Ads for Brand campaigns and ensuring that the same has appeared as per sanctioned media plan.

- Drive digital extension and loyalty for readers towards the brand

Best Qualification:

- Relevant professional experience in media planning, media buying, and/or advertising production management

- In-depth understanding of media principles, planning and buying functions in India

- Solid industry knowledge and contacts

- Demonstrated superior negotiation skills

- Strong knowledge of media research, trafficking, tracking and reporting processes, techniques and technologies

- Strong data driven marketing skills, with demonstrated ability to dive deep into customer data and translate findings into actionable customer insights.

- Highly effective written skills honed to develop thoughtful, strategic and detailed documents that can persuade Sr leaders of the effectiveness of the executions.

- A Masters degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Advertising or related field is preferred.

- 2 Years experience in offline marketing

- In-depth understanding of media principles, planning and buying functions in India

Qualification:

- Bachelors with Media buying experience

- MBA in Marketing preferred

Industrial Experience:

- Minimum 1-2 years in a similar role

- Preference to non-engineers

- Preference to candidate from marketing companies like Ogilvy, Hindustan Times, Times of India, RedFm, etc.

Salary Range: 7 - 9 LPA
