Manager - New Product Development - Manufacturing

Key Responsibilities:-

- Be the lead product technical specialist for the division.

- Work on innovative and category first solutions (both product and packaging) based on consumer insights, to lead disruption in chosen categories.

- Work and lead cross-functional teams of chefs, sourcing and commercialization members to deliver an extensive funnel of new products.

- Be the primary lead for working with the supply chain for developing third party manufacturing capabilities.

- Be commercially oriented to deliver new product solutions at the right cost and thereafter keep reducing costs.

- Keep improving consumer delight by running a continuous product improvement program.

- Continuously study and evaluate competition products to ensure, superiority in their own range.

- Work along with technical bodies like CFTRI, various flavour houses, etc on new concepts.

Key performance indicators

- Deliver an extensive NPD funnel across chosen categories at the right cost.

- Ensure end to end quality processes are established to deliver world-class products.

- Help develop a strong outsourced manufacturing base.

- Be the innovation champion for the division. Keep abreast with all new developments in the industry.

- Ensure compliance of products and its packaging labels to the food laws of the country.
