Should have prior proven experience in managing complex data and business analyses, measuring business performance and change management in a shared services organization. S/he should have proven stakeholder management and influencing skills in a global work environment. The dynamic environment at GDC would require this person to exercise creativity in the design, development, or improvement of existing processes and driving management of change.

Broadly, the key responsibilities are:

Business Intelligence:

- Identification & Implementation of cutting-edge analytical tools, models, and methods for making key business decisions.

- Defines the metrics required to measure business performance, compares actual data to forecasted values, and develops the process for identifying and addressing performance gaps.

- Manages complex data and business analyses to develop business plans and make recommendations.

- Works independently to construct complex statistical models to forecast business performance.

- Works with cross-functional teams across the entire span of business planning & delivery activities.

- Contributes to priority projects with complex analyses and assists in developing recommendations.

- Works closely with business leaders to analyze data & provide intelligent reports based on historical and forecasted data

- Strategic Initiatives - Contribute to GDC's growth plans, provide thought leadership by researching trends & implementing industry best practices to take GDC up the value chain

- Process Design - Continuously engage with stakeholders & Operations team to understand their needs and define policy, procedures, or systems accordingly.

- Business Development - Build strong domain expertise and industry knowledge to enable better engagement with customers and improve GDC's market share

Essential skills required

Education / professional qualifications

- MBA or Chartered Accountant

Skills Required:

- 8 - 14 years of post-qualification experience

- Should have experience in setting up and should have worked on BI & Analytics tool

- Proven Analytical & Modelling Skills

- Experience with leading shared service center will be a plus.

- Good knowledge of MS Office (excellent Powerpoint & Excel Skills) and MS Project

- Strong communication abilities, with excellent written and verbal English skills.

- Proven ability to work with minimum direct supervision and manage priorities & conflicts

- Should be willing to stretch in terms of working hours based on the business needs including working on weekends during peak season
