Manager - Merchandising - Retail

The role would be reporting to Marketing Head :

The job will consist of the following duties and responsibilities :

- End to End order fulfillment

- New Product Development

- Sampling

- Sales Order Processing

- Generation of MIS Reports

- Market Survey & Presentation

- Managing price and delivery negotiations with the suppliers

- Managing the approval of raw materials, consumables, lab dips, trims and samples

- Raising purchase orders and implementing the critical path to ensure on time delivery

- Following up all sample flow including proto, fit, pre-production, production and salesman samples

- Day to day management of development and production issues

- Ordering and chasing labels/trims where necessary

- Communicating with Sales Department and customers on price, delivery and quality

- Creating size charts and garment specs where necessary

- Organising import, customs clearance and delivery to the customers

- Forecast stock orders, manage delivery dates

- Sourcing - develop and strengthen relationships with new and existing factories and suppliers

- Regular factory visits (Travelling to plant)

- Experience in Yarn is must

Educational Qualification :

- Textile Engineer + Master's from NIFT/NID OR Textile Engineer OR Graduation from NIFT OR NIFT/NID Masters Degree

- SAP Experience- Required
