Lead and guide the marketing teams and agencies to deliver world class media strategies and integrated experience plans (IEPs) for the brands.
- Drive the capability of the organisation in media through thought leadership, training and coaching, delivering continuous improvement to the effectiveness and efficiency of all A&P investments.
- Inspire and manage the network of partner communication agencies
- Help to manage overall A&P investment
- Lead and coach the brand team through the development of Integrated Experience Plans (IEPs) on their brands: Annual media strategy / IEP; Platform level media strategy / IEP;
Implementation plans; Buying / execution of the IEP
- Provide thought leadership and skills coaching relevant to the development of IEPs to internal stakeholders (brand managers, portfolio managers, PR manager etc)
- Play a leadership and coaching role across the entire agency group (media, digital, creative) as they build IEPs
- Identify and develop strategic alliances with appropriate media partners and develop and maintain strong relationships with the media team
- Partner with the Finance Business Partner to manage and report on annual media budgets across the portfolio, ensuring delivery versus budget targets and phasing requirements
- Provide expert leadership and guidance to the brand teams and agency partners on all aspects of media effectiveness and media cost efficiency (eg campaign measurement framework; marketing mix modelling; media auditing; annual media negotiations)
- Performance management of our agency relationships including quarterly & annual deliverable reviews
Requirements:
- Strategic media and communications expert, preferably with FMCG experience
- Passion and deep understanding of media and communications coupled with a strong commercial sense and a proven track record working on either agency or client side
- Deep understanding of the digital landscape and KPIs to measure
- Integrate Ecommerce seamlessly into the marketing communication
- Excellent Communication and Influencing skills
- Strong cross functional and project management skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
