- As a media buyer, you'll play an important role in ensuring that advertising and promotional campaigns reach the highest number of people in your target audience at the lowest possible cost and is expected to:
- Identify target audiences and plan media campaigns
- keep up to date with industry research figures, including distribution figures for newspapers and magazines and audience figures for television and radio.
- Preparing buying strategies.
- Compare and negotiate rates, ad space and airtime.
- Preparing plans and budgets according to the best media mix.
- Prepare schedules and adjust when needed.
- Experiment with new platforms and channels.
