JOB REQUIREMENT- To manage the materials management function for Hydraulic, cabins, proprietary and electrical parts for construction equipment to ensure cost, quality and delivery goals of the organization .
DELIVERABLES -
- Identification and evaluation of suppliers for development of new parts
- Drawing study along with supplier for giving timely inputs to minimize design changes
- Floating RFQs for getting techno-commercial proposals from Suppliers
- Technical and Commercial evaluations of potential suppliers for supplier selection
- Commercial discussion and negotiation with suppliers along with Strategic Sourcing Units
- Budget preparation for component price and CAPEX
- Ensure cost viability of designs by giving inputs to Product Development regarding Raw Material availability/cost and process cost
- Meet all material requirement time targets by continuous interaction with supplier and internal agencies
- APQP and tracking at all the stages of product development
- Prepare and raise PO to suppliers
- Support suppliers for the development of parts and ensure QCD targets
- PPAP closure and handing over for regular supplies.
