Product is not damaged during handling, storage & transit 2. To deliver the Finished Goods as per the schedules agreed with the customers 3. To ensure timely procurement of materials of the right quality. 4. To ensure that inventories of raw materials, other input materials and finished goods are stored safely at economical volumes. 5. To comply with all statutory requirements. Responsibilities : - To ensure receipt of good vehicle from the transporters by check mechanism - To ensure that material handling equipment's are in good condition. - To ensure that people are trained in operating the MHE. - To ensure that vehicle drivers are informed about the consequences in case of any damage to the goods. - To ensure that required materials are available for production. - To ensure the availability of transportation. - To monitor the dispatches on daily basis. - Tracking of export consignments. - To Plan and execute sourcing of all raw materials. - To Plan procurement as per the production requirement. - To reduce lead-time for imported materials. - To Review and monitor the inventory levels and to initiate counter measures in case of adverse variance. Control Point : - Customer complaints on Transit damages. - LAID &lt; 5% - Alternate vendor development for B and C Class Items- No. of alternate vendors developed - No of days for Yarn Inventory, Chemicals, Stores and spares. - Number of pending advance authorizations to be applied for redemption. - Plant stoppage due to stock out - NIL
