Profile : Manager - Sports Marketing
Roles and Responsibilities :
1. In-depth understanding of sports marketing category in India
2. Should possess strong ideation and creative skills to create and execute strategy to promote the category
3. Expert in content creation and social media (especially Instagram) which includes copy writing skills
4. Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to create a loyal community who is engaged with the brand
5. Should be creative and have a strong sense of aesthetics
6. In sync with social media trends and ability to transform them into actionables for the brand
7. Impeccable English creative writing skills
8. Enthusiastic and passionate about growing brands on digital
9. The core objective of this role would be to create a strong positioning for the brand in the sports nutrition and functional foods category by using content and social media channels with a bit of partnerships or sponsorship
KPIs :
- Growth of Brand's share of voice (conversations around the brand), engagement and community building
Qualifications :
- 5 years experience in sports marketing
- Degree/postgraduate degree in sports marketing or communication with extensive experience in sports marketing
- Passionate about sports and in sync with latest trends
- Impeccable English writing skills
- Must have : Experience in ideation and content writing for social media channels, should be someone who believes in and follows an active lifestyle (into sports, regular workouts etc)
- Good to have : Worked with communities like runner groups, cyclists and/or others
- Previous experience with sports nutrition (preferred) or other athletic brands (athletic wear/wearables etc)
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced, startup environment- an entrepreneurial mind set with ability to work with a lean team and grow the brand
