Job Description - This is a category head responsibility role. The incumbent is expected to deliver excellence and growth by spearheading the development and execution of various marketing programs along with cross-functional teams. The role also extends to fostering and maintaining global relationships to drive regional alignment for global initiatives and seamless implementation of the same.

Our client is a well-renowned FMCG brand with significant presence in Indian and global markets. They are looking for a marketing manager to champion growth for a category business unit.

Description :

The key responsibilities of the role are -

- Responsible for category performance, taking ownership of end-to-end growth plan for category business unit

- Develop and implement long term vision and go to market strategy for the category in line with global strategies, covering aspects of innovation, communication and activation

- Demonstrate analytical approach to identify opportunities through detailed market research and consumer insights

- Optimise ROI and ensure delivery of category performance in line with Marketing P&L metrics

- Working closely with internal and external stakeholders for translation of strategies into plans

- Lead and mentor brand marketing team and cross functional partners to drive growth agenda for the category

Profile :

A successful candidate will have the following attributes -

- Min. 10 years of sales and marketing experience in core FMCG companies

- Management Graduate/Postgraduate from a reputed B-school

- Excellent communication skills and strong team player
