Manager Marketing

Key Responsibilities:

1. Packaging Design and Collateral Development:

- Lead the conceptualization, design and development of packaging materials for the companies' international portfolio, ensuring alignment with brand identity and market preferences as relevant.

- Collaborate with design agencies and packaging suppliers to create visually appealing and functional packaging solutions that enhance product appeal and shelf visibility. Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements for each market as per category requirements, in collaboration with regulatory & QC team.

- Develop marketing collateral including product brochures, sell sheets, and promotional materials to support sales efforts and brand communication initiatives.

2. E-Commerce Marketing:

- Manage product content on e-commerce platforms, ensuring accurate and compelling product descriptions, images, and attributes to optimize search visibility and conversion rates.

- Partner with agency to develop and execute digital marketing campaigns to increase brand visibility, engagement and sales.

3. Local Market Visibility:

- Collaborate with country partners to execute region-specific marketing initiatives to increase brand awareness & visibility in target international markets.

- Monitor market trends and consumer behavior to identify opportunities for localized marketing campaigns and product adaptations.

4. New Product Development and Launch:

- Work closely with product development teams to identify market gaps, consumer needs, and emerging trends to inform new product development initiatives.

- Lead the market launch networks while collaborating with country leads, R&D, production & operations teams covering market research, positioning, pricing strategy and go-to-market planning.

- Develop comprehensive launch plans and marketing campaigns to drive awareness, trial, and adoption of new products in international markets. Follow up with measurement of impact across key metrics post launch and influence course correction as necessary.

5. International Expo Representation:

- Partner with country leads to represent the company at relevant international trade shows, exhibitions and expos aligned with the company target markets and business objectives.

- Develop a comprehensive trade show calendar and budget, including booth space reservation, travel arrangements, logistics, and promotional materials.

- Coordinate with internal teams, external vendors, and partners to ensure seamless execution of trade show participation, including booth design, product displays, and promotional activities.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in International Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; MBA preferred.

- Proven experience with a minimum of 10 years in marketing roles related to export of packaged foods/ consumer packaged goods sector

- Strong expertise in packaging design, branding and collateral development.

- Demonstrated proficiency in digital marketing, e-commerce advertising and online sales channels.

- Excellent analytical skills and strategic mindset with a track record of driving results.

- Strong project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
