ROLE PURPOSE

Performs work in the areas of revenue generation, operations management and vendor relationships. Responsible for Revenue from key functions like Data, Roaming, SMS & ensuring service penetration, usage of service, revenue from services and increased contribution of VAS towards total company revenue. The job role also requires effective coordination with various other departments for smooth running of services and to ensure good relations with new and current vendors.

ESSENCE OF ROLE- Key Accountabilities

1 Strategic

Conceptualize, design, develop and roll out products / platforms for driving data/SMS/Roaming usage and revenue growth .Uses all promotional tools effectively to ensure service penetration, revenue generation from services and services usage.

This role would emphasis on developing strategies basis consumer, and competition insights

2 Operational

- Conceptualization and Design

- Project Planning and management

- GTM / Rollout roadmap.

- Coordinates and works closely with the central team and vendors to localize products, content and promotion in case of VAS.

3 Innovation and Change

Implements common national operations processes for speedier deployment of Products & Services.

4 Knowledge

- Understanding of Internet / Data/SMS/Roaming/VAS

- Design products basis insights

- Technical understanding & Financial Awareness

- Relationship/ stakeholder management orientation

5 Communication

Developing and implementing a company-wide go-to-market plan, working with all departments to execute.

TYPICAL OUTPUTS

- Develop business and marketing requirements for products and ensure these are linked to business priorities and business strategy

- Deliver products based on product roadmaps

- Develop business cases for products & services jointly with Segment Managers

Coordinate and Manage launch of related VAS & Data Services

- Ensure launch of VAS & Data on both prepaid and postpaid formats

- Build business plans for products, define revenue and cost projections

PERSONAL SPECIFICATIONS

- Graduate

- MBA in Marketing

- 3-5 years of experience in Data /VAS profile

- Communication and presentation skills.

- People management skills

- Innovation and Creativity

- Business Acumen
