Marketing communications manager


Role Charter (Global Job Title) : Marketing Communications Manager

- Scope To actively support/lead the tactical execution of the Regional marketing strategy across focused products within assigned area of responsibility. 


- To work with the Regional Marketing/CE Leader, Regional Leader, SBUs and key commercial stakeholders to deliver marketing campaigns across the region, driving sales to achieve set budgets utilizing budgeted spend levels. To coordinate and deliver a cohesive marketing communications plan.

Key Responsibilities :

- Supports the Regional Marketing/CE Leader in developing regional and country marketing plans; in partnership with key commercial stakeholders

- Co-ordination and delivery of a cohesive and comprehensive regional/local marketing communications plan achieved by active liaison across the marketing team to determine requirements and priorities

- Gathers insights to support marketing communications planning, develop and implement a Communications Plan

- Coordination of marketing activities that utilise the full range of communication media (web, print, e-media, social media etc.) to maximise efficiency and output across SBU portfolios

- Implement and track campaign activity through use of appropriate tools

- Coordinate with Corporate (structure) and colleagues (content) to deliver an effective website(s) in required language

- Coordinate the implementation of the Dentsply Sirona's CRM system across the region o Development of marketing output and new initiatives that fully utilise the CRM system

- Executes tactical activities to support regional and country plans

- Execution of regional and country marketing plans working closely with the Regional Marketing/CE Leader and SBUs

- Use of global infrastructure (web, branding, collateral) in the local markets to execute in market strategy


- Creation of local and country specific content / activities seeking agreement from SBU via the Regional Marketing/CE Leader

- Utilise the region and countries CRM system to build targeted campaigns to support country plans


- Communicate to customers regarding updates, new products, etc. as agreed with the Regional Marketing/CE Leader

- Support the training of sales team to ensure required knowledge is known - including, but not limited to, product information, product positioning vs competitors

- Sales Team support - product knowledge and Dual calling to understand the needs of the sales team and customers

- To be an active part of a project team for events

Parameters for Success :

Key Metric :

- Successful execution of regional and country marketing plans to meet annual sales budget and within expenditure limits

- Drive focused tactical plans that meets end-user needs measured by sales results

- Delivery of a cohesive Marketing Communications Plan

- Effective implementation of CRM system and subsequent provision of data Financial Target

- Supports the Region and Country organization financial targets.

- Sales against budget over defined product area

- Expense control against a set budget

- New product sales performance over defined product area

Key Leadership Behaviors :

- All actions and reporting of marketing activities are executed and communicated effectively and in a timely fashion

- Ability to deliver against plans

- Ability to utilize multiple marketing channel approach

- Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and presentation

- Professional with proven ability to build appropriate relationships with internal and external key stakeholders

Typical Background :

- Over 7 years of marketing experience required, with a demonstrated record of success. Sales/marketing experience in a healthcare company is a plus.

- Experience of Marketing-Communications execution using the full-suite of communication tools, inclusive of Web and CRM is required

- Bachelor's degree/PG required or equivalent professional qualification

- Analytical, planning, organizational and implementation experience working within marketing

- Ideally some experience in a field sales capacity

- Strong command of Microsoft Office and Internet applications

- Fluent in English (written and oral)

- Consistently meets Company standards, ethics and compliance requirements.

- Excellent business standard of English required
