Job Function Description: Analytics - Marketing team is responsible for developing integrated marketing strategies and providing inferences to the business within the financial services for a large global bank across one or more geographical regions. Typical activities vary from marketing planning functions, customer segmentation & targeting, product offering and tracking and evaluation of marketing programs for liabilities and assets portfolios. The work would primarily involve the use of customer data and application of statistical tools and techniques to achieve following

- Developing inferences and insights around customer behavior and profitable growth scenarios

- Design and develop marketing strategies across the customer lifecycle from acquisition to attrition management including customer contact management strategies.

- Monitor portfolio profitability & other key performance indicators in order to recommend strategies that align with business objectives for profitable growth.

- Asset and liability management and deposit pricing

1. Independently delivers end to end on simple projects. Should assist in delivery of more complicated analyses/strategies under the supervision of the team lead.

2. Ensure flawless and timely delivery of projects

3. Take up on-boarding roles for new team members.

4. Work with multiple customers/functions on multiple projects simultaneously and deliver in a timely, efficient and effective manner.

5. Independently resolve queries/issues associated with a project

6. Understand the business and product landscape across all business units.

7. Gain knowledge of processes and support implementation of process efficiency initiatives

8. Ensure adherence with all the applicable compliance policies (Data security policy, AML, operational risk, Functional manual, Group Compliance Manual, Audit recommendations, Internal Control requirements, regulatory guidelines etc.) and business standards of Organization as applicable. Take timely action on Audit comments and be able to demonstrate compliance with Internal controls

9. Certain roles may also require the developing models or forecasting methodologies using SAS, Model Builder, Xeno or other platforms

Skills & Qualifications:

- 4 year Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from reputed university with concentration on marketing, economics or other quantitative fields such as statistics or engineering.

- Strong analytical skills with 4+ years of proven business analysis experience or equivalent. Knowledge and understanding of financial-services/ banking-operations preferred.

- Elementary programming skills

- Knowledge of forecasting and statistical modeling techniques, market research and multivariate analysis tools (e.g., factor and cluster analysis, conjoint analysis etc.) is a plus

- Knowledge of SAS, SQL and other equivalent analytical tools is a plus

- Ability to comprehend intricate and diverse range of business problems and analyze them with limited or complex data and provide a feasible solution framework.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to develop and effectively communicate complex concepts and ideas

- Ability to work in cross-functional teams. Strong interpersonal skills and drive for success
