Manager - Market Research - Consulting Firm

This is a senior role is an integral part of experienced market researchers and data analysts and senior professionals within the market research field and consultants.

The role requires strong experience of market research techniques and the ability to handle all stages of the project life cycle, from proposal to a presentation.

This role will focus on qualitative or quantitative research.

Key Responsibilities:

- Leading and project managing primary research strategy

- Planning and executing sales/business development activity to achieve targets

- Designing - research products- that can be marketed to target clients

- Building relationships with new and existing client base to encourage repeat business.

- Coaching and developing junior staff to acquire/improve their primary skills

- Mentoring other team members

- Contributing to the management of company-wide initiatives; member of the senior research team and participate in company training days.

- Contributing to thought leadership, speaking at conferences and seminars, writing web/blog content about relevant insight issues.

Essential

- Min 8+ years of professional market research experience including project management, research design, execution, and reporting.

- Strong technical research skills - qualitative or quantitative (a mix is preferred)

- Positive commercial attitude

- Experienced presenter, able to create winning proposals,

- Able to coach, mentor and manage junior staff

- High-quality standards in both setting research methods and delivering research results whether written reports or presentations.

- Research experience in at least one of: NPD, brand, pricing, conjoint analysis, international markets etc.
