Roles & Responsibilities:
- Work with Predictive Modeling on finding support and determining new model selections.
- Maintain all US filing support documentation based on new models.
- Assist in analyzing, identifying and tracking new market trends, including underwriting and rate actions and proposing what actions to take.
- Assist in line specific make / model updates.
- Facilitate, while working with other departments, in creation of product strategy, countrywide underwriting revisions and countrywide requirement updates.
- Assist in audit functions as needed.
- Doing independent research, analyze, and present data as assigned
- Expected to work in close collaboration with the EXL team and clients on general insurance projects for US markets
- Critically examine and deep dive into pricing models
- Ensure compliance with Data Privacy and Protection Guidelines
Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in economics, mathematics, actuarial sciences
- Strong command of Excel (including macros), MS Office Suite applications, and computer systems.
- Knowledge of data gathering and manipulation techniques and tools such as Access, SQL.
- Strong analytical abilities including mathematics and statistical concepts.
- Use of RADAR for impact, rate structure, quality and market analysis.
- Affiliation to IAI or IFOA, with at least 4-6 CT actuarial exams
- Exposure to US general insurance market is preferable
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work in fast pace continuously evolving environment and ready to take up uphill challenges
- Is able to understand cross cultural differences and can work with clients across the globe.
