Role Overview:

Company is seeking a talented Manager to join their Management Reporting team. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in providing senior management with detailed analytical reports and insights regarding the firm's expenses. You will be responsible for supporting processes related to expense and time allocation, firmwide budgeting, and driving technology projects to automate and enhance these processes.

Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with key stakeholders including the COO, CFO, business unit heads, and portfolio managers to develop analytical reports, models, and commentary on firm-wide, business-unit, and fund-level expenses.

- Manage budgeting, forecasting, scenario analysis, and ad-hoc requests from various departments such as Investor Relations, Corporate Development, and Legal and Compliance.

- Take charge of critical processes, including supporting and reviewing month-end activities, reporting deliverables, and financial analytics for external stakeholders.

- Lead technology initiatives to develop tools for reporting and analysis, streamline workflows, and enhance user experience.

- Exhibit strong business partnering and stakeholder management skills to influence decision-making processes effectively.

- Supervise a team of analysts, providing leadership, motivation, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Requirements:

- Master's degree in finance or a Chartered Accountant degree.

- 5 to 8 years of relevant work experience in reporting or financial planning and analysis.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a sharp attention to detail.

- Proficiency with MS Excel and experience with data visualization and reporting tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.

- Minimum 1 year of experience in people management.

- Prior experience in the hedge fund or investment banking industry is an added advantage.
