Manager - Management Consulting/Sales & Operations Planning - eCommerce

The Management Consulting team is looking to hire a Manager in the Consumer and E-Commerce domain, with experience in Consulting companies/ Large FMCG/ Retail companies in the areas of Supply Chain operations, Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and Integrated Business Planning (IBP). The individual will require to:

- Deliver program / projects as per defined timelines

- Drive the solution thinking within the project team with minimal assistance from the Project Director

- Manage client stakeholders in complex and intense consulting assignments

- Mine existing clients for additional business opportunities and drive aggressive sales efforts

- Drive Knowledge Management; mentor & develop young consultants

- Drive project P&L by monitoring billing, fee collection, controlling project expenses etc.

TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED

The individual should have had work experience in:

- Delivering consulting projects with clients / or should have been a part of business excellence/operations excellence / Sales & Operations Planning teams in companies, and should have worked in the Planning function.

- Project management - managing team sizes of 3-4 people

- Delivering end to end consulting - design to implementation for clients

- A working knowledge of quantitative analysis techniques using excel/pivots and any other analytical software tools

- Good communication skills and presentation skills. Easy orator and ability to develop and translate the consulting view point to the client senior stakeholders

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

- 8-10 years of experience with the excellent understanding of business transformation in supply chain planning, Demand management, and supply chain fulfillment

- Pure Consulting or hands-on leadership experience with consulting firms or large brands (FMCG, Fashion/Retail etc)

- Have specific expertise in distribution and supply chain cost optimization projects, and should have managed the demand side planning processes for FMCG/commodity environments. Preferably been a part of any large scale supply chain initiatives.

- Demonstrated experience of driving improvements in supply chain planning KPI's including fill rates, forecast accuracy, return management, carrying costs etc.

- Designed/managed key S&OP processes including demand and supply planning, inventory management, distribution and replenishment planning etc.

- Knowledge of demand-driven replenishment systems, inventory modeling and replenishment techniques

- Hands on knowledge of running technology like APO, APS, I2, or other supply chain planning/inventory modeling tools

- Working knowledge of linear/non-linear optimization tools for supply chain efficiency

- MBA from a top-tier business school

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills

- Excellent quantitative and analytical skills

- Strong project planning and leadership
