Profile: Logistics Operation Manager

Job description

Role & responsibilities

- Develop and implement streamlined logistics processes to guarantee the timely and accurate delivery of water cans to our valued customers.

- Collaborate closely with the manufacturing team to monitor and maintain the quality of water cans, utilizing IoT technology and sensors to uphold our high standards.

- Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers, negotiating contracts and ensuring that service level agreements are met.

- Analyze operational data to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements that drive efficiency and reduce costs.

- Develop and maintain comprehensive standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all aspects of operations and logistics.

- Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to forecast demand and ensure optimal inventory levels are maintained.

- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including health and safety standards and environmental guidelines.

- Provide regular updates to senior management on operational performance, highlighting challenges and identifying opportunities for growth.

- Responsibility for billing, profit and loss, and contract renewals for applicable clients

- Ensure client satisfaction and superb relations

- Publish metrics measuring client, team, and individual performance

- Manage staffing

- Surface and implement productivity improvements

- Identify and manage technological advancements

- Facilitate prompt issue resolution

- Supervise directly and indirectly employees in regards to:

- Time sheets and time off

- Performance reviews and Personal Development Plans (PDPs)

- Support marketing efforts such as article publications, launching campaigns

- Actively participate in sales, marketing, and business development

What you will do everyday:

- On-board high quality driver partners and vendors

- Ensure that they are well trained, process-driven and customer-centric

- Ensure delivery on SLAs promised to the customer

- Restore operations to normalcy when things break

- Hire, coach and mentor a team of Supervisors
