We are hiring for the below position with one of our premium client, a leading Medical Devices MNC in Chennai (warehouse location).

Job Advert:

Role: Logistics Manager.

Exp: 14 - 20 years.

Location: Chennai.

Key Skills: Logistics, 3PL, FTWZ, SCM, Warehousing, EXIM and SAP.

Description:.

- The manager/ deputy manager logistics will be head of pan-India logistics operations consisting of Imports, South Asia Exports, FTWZ VAS, Domestic warehousing and domestic last mile. transportation.

- The person will set up a culture of continuous improvement, ethical behaviour and open. communication within the logistics team and also the India supply chain team

Imports / exports:

- Ensure all imports are captured in the internal tracker (in close coordination with the planning team) and tracked through various milestones keeping TAT into consideration.

- Make timely escalations to the relevant stakeholders and ensure issues are resolved with 100% compliance to company and country laws.

- Participate in internal trade compliance audit and also act as the India trade compliance owner.

- Coordinate with peers across Asia Pacific region to replicate best practices.

FTWZ ops:

- Ensure tracking and expediting of VAS at FTWZ.

- Maintain a strong governance on the inventory in FTWZ ensuring importability of materials based on shelf life and also good storage conditions.

Domestic WH:

- Establish a strong but ethical relationship with the 3PL partners focussing on goals, KPIs etc.

- Work with 3PL and internal process excellence team to maintain, refine and upgrade the KPIs/ SLAs with the 3PL team.

- Review performance weekly and provide feedback for improvement and track to closure.

- Help the supply chain leader set up processes integrating with the rest of the supply chain functions and overall organization for seamless and low touch processing.
