Summary of Role :

- Analyze logistics & warehousing performance to identify best practices, opportunities for improvement in deliverables on continuous basis.

- Planning and managing logistics, warehouse, transportation, and customer services. Directing, optimizing and coordinating full order cycle.

- Liaising, negotiating, and managing day to day operations with 3PL, logistics partners. Regular coordination with self-team, customers, sales, marketing, commercial, technical, and planning teams.

- Driving cost saving initiatives and ensuring cost effective operations.

- Enhance Supply Chain Processes to increase accurate communication to stakeholders and customers.

- Provides routine updates to Sales on service levels and critical supply disruptions.

- Partner with peers in Supply Planning to establish Business Solutions to improve Cost Synergies.

- Perform other duties as assigned.

- This role will act as an interface between local business / commercial & supply chain team and 3PL and logistics partners.

Responsibilities in Detail :

- To act as key interface between sales team, distributors / Hospitals and 3PL service provider managing warehouse operations

- To ensure quality and regulatory compliance and company policies, guidelines and control Ex w/h distribution, warehouse operations, 3PL, transportation, logistics costs.

- Managing Inventories at warehouse to support internal, external customers and overall business growth.

- Responsible for improving Customer Experience, Target Service levels in conjunction with existing policies and effective distribution and logistics model.

- Coaching and guiding team members of regional headquarters for best performance.

- Lead and facilitate cross functional teams to support strategic initiatives both within the supply chain organization and across the business units.

- Ensure Good Warehouse Practices (GWP) and compliance as per guidelines & other local regulatory requirements.

- Work with order management, distribution centers and third party logistics provider to support business objectives.

- Giving inputs in Negotiation and finalization of freight rates with appointed transporters.

- Identifying cost reduction opportunities by developing new transporters, alternate & cost-effective modes of transport, optimizing warehouse operations.

- Ensure the Quality and EHS Norms in the warehouse.

- Coordinating with planning for Optimizing inventory turns, minimize excess & obsolete inventory, monitor slow and non-moving stocks at plant and avoid probable write-offs due to expiry of products.

- Drive departmental KPIs. identify cost saving opportunities and identify efficiencies and economies of scale to reduce costs.

- Ensure inventory accuracy at W/h, periodic stock counts and implement SOPs for warehouses.

- Ensure adherence to all statutory requirements in respect of commercial operations, QA and regulatory requirements, etc.

- Weekly Near Expiry MIS to respective locations to monitor liquidation of stocks on weekly basis.

- Formulation Budget Volumes and cost based on Inventory Analysis and previous trends

- To ensure that FG Imports happen with strict compliance to QA & RA guidelines.

- In case of any products lying in the Inventory reported under FCA received from QA/RA, the same is put ON HOLD at respective CFAs and Plants.

- Partnering Monthly S&OP and present the key take offs at appropriate level.

Job Environment : This Position would have very high visibility to LT members like Country Manager, CFO, Business directors along with cross functional relation with executional team.
