Manager - Logistics - Frozen Food

Job Description:

- Strong exposure in Logistics operations & cost control techniques.

- Must have sound Knowledge of Import and Export Documentation.

- Experience in building and Handling team.

- Managing entire logistics operations with key focus on orders servicing, safe, time bound delivery.

- Should take measures for cost effective distribution, sales growth and profitability.

- Taking adequate measures to monitor and analyse the performance of transporters, processing & packaging units pertaining to cost, quality and delivery norms.

- Should have an experience of building the infrastructure from scratch.

- Must have knowledge Frozen Food transportation.

- Active participation in Sales and operation planning.

- Ensuring timely Shipments/ Deliveries of placed orders/ contracts for purchase of material.

- To manage complete logistics & freight for incoming materials.

- To ensure that all Materials Administration Practices are complete and in-keeping with legal practices, Policies & Procedures.

- Ensuring optimum utilization of manpower and vehicle towards the output.

- Problem resolution skills by doing Root cause analysis for all logistics operations.
