The key responsibilities would entail : - Drive Logistic function to streamline processes and reduce cost - Create and manage logistic budgets -ensure that quality, quantity, customer satisfaction, and financial commitments are met - Perform metrics reporting and data analysis tasks to identify issues and opportunities for process improvements - Partner and communicate with manufacturers, suppliers, and customers - Manage and develop logistics staff - Co-ordination with various inter department for shipment related activities. - Manage 3rd party Logistic service providers - Coordination between Customer, 3rd party warehouses, 3rd party transport service providers. - Strong Negotiation with 3rd party Transport &amp; S/line for freight - Timely pre shipment and post shipment documentation for customers - Creating purchase order &amp; sales order Desired Profile : - MBA in SCM with 5-8 years hard core experience in handling offshore supply chain and distribution - Preferably Food distribution background - Firm grasp of supply chain, distribution, business, and management principles - Strong team player - Ability to manage, coach, and provide training for direct reports - Exceptional organizational and analytical skills - Working knowledge of logistics software
