Manager - Logistics

Currently we are hiring as Logistics Manager.

Industry: FMCG/ Foods/ Beverages.

Job Description:

1. Supply Chain Management: Overseeing the entire supply chain operation, transportation, storage, and distribution of goods.

2. Transportation Coordination: Managing the transportation of goods from suppliers to warehouses, distribution centers, and customers. This includes negotiating with carriers, ensuring compliance with transportation regulations, and optimizing transportation costs.

3. Vendor Management: Building and maintaining good relationships with suppliers, vendors, and third-party logistics providers. Negotiating contracts and managing service level agreements.

4. Cost Management: Monitoring logistics budget and costs, and implementing cost-saving measures

5. Compliance and Safety: Ensuring compliance with legal regulations and safety standards in transportation and warehousing. This includes adherence to environmental regulations and transportation safety standards.

6. Strategy and Planning: Developing and implementing logistics strategies to enhance operational efficiency, improve customer satisfaction, and reduce costs.

7. Team Management: Leading and managing a team of logistics staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation.

8. Technology Utilization: Implementing and managing logistics software and systems for tracking, planning, and optimizing routes and shipments.

9. Customer Service: Ensuring high levels of customer service and addressing any logistics-related complaints or issues.

10. Crisis Management: Handling any logistical challenges or disruptions, such as delays, accidents, or natural disasters, and implementing contingency plans
