Manager - Group Regulatory Reporting
Be responsible for the preparation and lodgement of regulatory returns, including monthly reviews and commentary in the Liquidity reporting comprising primarily of Liquidity Coverage Ratio(LCR), Net Stable Funding Ratio(NSFR), Balance Sheet Maturity profile (BSM). Participate and contribute in the various automation and operational excellence initiatives.

You will be responsible for:
Regulatory Liquidity reporting requirements for Macquarie Bank branches/ non bank entities for parent entity (ANZ)
Understanding the rules, interpretations and assumptions in calculating the LCR, NSFR and other liquidity reporting requirements
Preparation of LCR, NSFR, BSM for the various regulated entities across ANZ
Supporting global reporting automation initiatives, IT system changes required for regulatory reporting submissions
Facilitation of periodic operational meetings with stakeholders
Leading and coaching your team, particularly on aspects of financial control, regulatory compliances and attention to detail
Regulatory reporting for Global teams to support Macquarie's regulatory reporting obligations globally
Identifying areas for process improvement / efficiency, and drive process enhancements
Managing senior stakeholders' expectations and provide timely updates on issues/ escalations
Keeping up to date with regulatory developments and assisting with interpreting and communicating regulatory requirements
Ensuring knowledge is shared with resources via cross training and team learning
To be successful in this role you will have:
Professional accountancy qualification CA / CPA
Experience with statutory reporting, financial accounting and compliance
6 - 8 years of post qualification experience
Strong adherence to timelines and attention to details
Banking industry knowledge and experience
Basel knowledge and experience (preferable). Sound knowledge of the Financial/Banking Services industry, products & Shared Services operating models
Ability to anticipate and identify potential problems and demonstrate a proven track record in solving complex and ambiguous issues
Flexibility, tenacity and the ability to maintain enthusiasm on long-running or complex process re-design initiatives
Ability to motivate, influence and gain commitment at all levels of the organization
Clear, concise written and verbal communications kills
Strong numerical and abstract reasoning skills
A high degree of comfort in dealing with information technology
Very strong MS Office Skills
Strong team player
