Manager - Legal - Stock Broking

A Leading Stock Broking Company is looking for Manager – Legal (Non-litigation) is as under:

- A young, energetic and hard-working candidate having excellent academic record with a Degree in Law having thorough understanding of the regulatory aspects in the securities industry & capital markets with a minimum experience of 4 to 5 years.

- The candidate should have good drafting, analytical & communication skills as well as excellent knowledge of contract/commercial laws, Companies Act, 1956, Indian Contract Act, SEBI (ICDR) Regulations and various other SEBI Regulations relating to issuance of debt securities, takeover, buy-back, delisting, etc.

- The candidate should have experience in preparation and vetting of documentation in connection with retail & institutional broking, distribution and Investment Banking businesses, viz., SLAs, soft dollar agreements, referral agreements, distribution agreements, MoUs, escrow agreements, confidentiality agreements and other documents involved in Investment Banking activities.

- Preference will be given to the candidates having worked either with (a) reputed Investment Banking / integrated securities outfits offering a wide range of services including private wealth management and financial products distribution or (b) law firms specialising in capital markets.”
