Manager-Legal Services

Job Description :

1.To manage all legal matters, Mergers & Acquisitions, contract negotiation with customers and suppliers, dispute and litigation management, employment matters, real estate matters, regulatory matters and interaction with government authorities.

2.Working closely with the company's finance and tax specialists in India and in North America and Europe on matters relating to treasury, finance and tax planning matters.

3.Working closely with the company’s external law firms in India to ensure that external legal services are managed efficiently and cost-effectively.

4.Providing practical advice and support to the company’s operating management teams in India on issues that have a legal dimension.

5.Working closely with the Corporate office abroad to build up compliance and ethics culture in all Indian divisions and drive legal compliance initiatives across the country.

Requirements :

1.Should have a minimum of eight years’ experience as a corporate or commercial lawyer in a reputable private firm or as a legal counsel at a major international corporation with significant operations in India.

2.Education-LLB/LLM

3.Excellent corporate and commercial legal skills,Solid business acumen and judgment, Excellent communication skills,The ability and desire to work independently with limited direct supervision.
