Manager - Legal - LLB - Financial Services

Leading MNC looking for 'Manager - Legal' in Bangalore for their financial services vertical - debt fund.

Roles and responsibilities include:

- Drafting, structuring, negotiating and reviewing debt transactions

- Legal matters include and are not limited to transactions, compliances litigations, IPR, drafting and vetting of contracts etc.

- Coordination and project management by liaising with stakeholders - investment team, developer team, external counsel

- Interactions with external firms and hands on control of all transaction documents, negotiations, as well as advising the team on on-going issues

- Advisory to the team on its statutory obligations while keeping in mind the interests of the company and interacting with internal stakeholders for processes

Ideal Candidate should be :

- Qualified LLB with 2 to 7 years of post-qualification experience in debt transactions and related documentation - preferably with a bank/financial institution/NBFC; or in a banking and finance function in a top legal firm

- Experience in leading, drafting, negotiating and closing finance documents

- Understanding of security (structures and law), NBFC and banking regulations

- Ability to handle high pressure situations positively and run multiple deals

- Excellent interpersonal communication skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging setup

- Process & results oriented

- Law-firm experience is a plus
