Position : Manager - Legal Company : Leading MNC Compnay Location : Vikroli (Mumbai) YOUR ROLE SUMMARY : In this role, you will be responsible for Indirect taxation/GST related litigation and advisory work YOUR ROLE SPECIFICATIONS : - Drafting appeals before Commissioner (Appeals), appeals before CESTAT and writ petitions.&nbsp; - Reviewing responses to SCNs/other notices/correspondences drafted by junior resources. Briefing Advocates, Sr. Counsels in significant Indirect tax matters.&nbsp; - Attend personal hearings before adjudicating authorities, appellate authorities in relation to various litigation/audit matters under GST, Excise, VAT, Service tax and other Indirect tax.&nbsp; - Extend proactive advice to the businesses on various indirect tax including GST related&nbsp;issues such as refunds, rebates, cenvat credit, VAT set offs and FTP provisions. Liasioning with Indirect tax/ GST authorities.&nbsp; - Review of pendency list on upcoming replies/ appeals/ personal hearings maintained by the&nbsp;junior team member.&nbsp; - Provide inputs on contingent liabilities, deposit statements and document management on&nbsp;matters handled. Meeting external auditors and briefing them on developments of the cases. Requirement : LLB+CA or LLB (3 years) SKILLS REQUIRED : - Diligence, sincerity and willingness to work in the indirect tax field. - Drafting skills with high degree of precision and understanding of Indirect tax matters.&nbsp; - Excellent communication skills Comfortable with short-notice travel.
