Job Description :   - Oversee negotiations and contracts, purchase and sale of assets, accounting and taxation, and all other critical aspects of business   - Conducting regular training for the organization regarding compliance with laws, regulations and company policies   - Managing all legal queries/ pre litigation issues/ running litigation pertaining to Civil, Commercial & Corporate Criminal disputes, Legal Metrology Laws & Regulations, Consumer Complaints, Food Safety and Standards Act & Regulations, Companies Act, Sales Tax/ VAT, Local/Entry Tax, Property/Lease disputes.   - Evaluate potential trials and advise senior management on making settlements in major cases  - Appearing in all court hearings for lawsuits filed by or against the organization  - Engaging with Regulators/Statutory Authorities on various issues and filing representations before them.  - Managing legal queries/ pre litigation issues/ running litigation/ legacy issues under Food Laws, Corporate Laws and Consumer Laws  - Advising, drafting and executing commercial agreements and related commercial transaction work, which involves both internal agreements as well as agreements with external parties   - Spreading legal awareness and providing training in the various units  - Incorporation of Companies  - Organizing Board Meetings and General Meetings  - All the secretarial compliances under Companies Act and FEMA, etc.  - Advising on advertising and promotional materials including sales promotions in line with Indian laws and regulations including the Food Safety and Standards Act, Legal Metrology Act, Consumer Protection Act, etc  - Providing product and innovation support, including, advice on product marketing claims and advice on product composition, design, packaging and labelling.  - Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts.  - Advising on matters concerning Intellectual Property, i.e. trademarks and copyright law (including brand protection and licensing), data protection, anti-bribery laws, commercial contracts and competition law.  - Advising on and conducting matters arising with government agencies, competitors and third parties relating the advertising and marketing of Unilever's products.  - Identifying and explaining legal risks to my business partners to help them navigate such risks.  - Providing training to the business in relation to any of the above matters, including as part of Unilever's overall Compliance framework.  Qualification : The candidate must be from Tier-1 Law School and Experience in Food Industry.
