Manager - Legal

My client, a well reputed fintech firm in Bangalore, is looking to hire a Manager Legal.

Job Responsibilities:

- Provide contractual, legal, and regulatory support for all activities of the Company.

- Track banking and payments regulations in India and execute related compliance actions.

- Undertake in-depth legal research into a variety of complex regulations and help implement processes and policies.

Contract Lifecycle Management:

- Negotiation: You will be required to negotiate contracts with internal stakeholders and external stakeholders (including regulatory bodies and financial institutions).

- Disputes: You will be required to coordinate with law enforcement and statutory authorities. You should be able to draft notices and prepare responses to notices received by the Company

Candidate Requirements:

- Qualifications: 5 years LLB from a prestigious university in India.

- Experience: 7+ years post qualification experience in a law firm or in the corporate legal department. Prior working experience on banking, payments and/or fintech matters is a must

- Experience in dealing with a broad range of product compliance issues, including all laws and regulations relating to product compliance.

- Ability to work independently, and advice business teams on legal and compliance matters
