- Looking for candidate for to deal with the legal claims arising out of consumer complaints and managing other legal/related affairs for a General Insurance Company.  Duties & Responsibilities :  - Coordinating with various claims department and giving feedback on core trends.  - Guiding departments on actionables to reduce the litigation. Managing external lawyers, courts and other administrative officials.  - Effective management of litigation to ensure favourable contest of consumer cases.  - Handling various ombudsman matters and coordinating with the ombudsman person in effective handling of the cases.  - Coordinating with Grievance team for effective reply to the customer grievance in litigation.  - Coordination with various statutory and regulatory bodies.  Skills & Competencies :  - Should be a good team player.  - Good Leadership Skills  - Good Written and verbal Communication  - Planning and organizing  - Excellent legal domain in various laws including insurance, consumer, motor accidents, civil, criminal, arbitration etc.  - Interpersonal Effectiveness & Ability to influence   - High Result orientation   - Problem Solving   - Process Orientation.  Relevant Work-experience Required :  - Minimum 10 years experience with 4-5 years of corporate experience in litigation. Experience in General Insurance Industry would be an added advantage.
