- Providing a comprehensive and high quality in-house legal service, across a broad range of legal issues to internal customers within the organization, ensuring all activities are within the legal requirements and risks are mitigated appropriately.

- Developing and maintaining excellent relationships with internal customers promoting the value of the legal function.

- Proactive engagement with business teams to understand their spoken and unspoken needs and timely advice.

- Identification of the issues while advising and then introducing processes and monitoring mechanism.

- Competency to independently draft, negotiate the contracts/agreements such as Manufacturing agreement, vendor and warehousing agreements, technology licence, service agreements, product supply, lease / leave and licence agreements, MOUs, NDAs etc, based on the inputs received from the business including strategic management of contractual disputes.

- Excellent communication and negotiating skills with international lawyers, in house counsels, customers, vendors and such other parties;

- Ability to ask appropriate questions to the business to understand the requirement and the structure of the documentation

- Practical, procedural and in-depth knowledge about and handling of matters relating to Contract laws, Competition law, IPR and Property laws.

- Excellent written and oral communications, including the ability to work effectively with a range of people and the ability to deliver advice in a clear and user-friendly way.

PERSONAL PROFILE:

a) Educational Qualifications: - Qualified lawyer - LLM/LLB

b) Experience: 8 to 10 years
