Manager - Learning & Development
Roles and responsibilities :
Work independently or lead a project team on learning interventions.
Accomplish the following tasks working independently or with a project team :
- Draft sharp learning objectives aligned to the goal of the learning program.
- Provide effective and engaging Instruction Design solutions for learning programs.
- Draft the Micro Design Document (MDD).
- Collate the content required to meet the learning objectives of the program.
- Interact with Subject Matter Experts and Stakeholders of a learning program during various stages of the project.
- Script storyboards along with the visual descriptions to create engaging and effective learning content.
- Adhere to the defined standards and guidelines for courseware development.
- Review storyboards created by team members against guidelines and keeping in mind the medium of training (online, classroom, mobile etc).
- Design and develop valid and reliable test items/library of tests in accordance with capability development outcomes defined in the training needs analysis report.
Managing the courseware development and coordinating with Graphics and Implementation teams:
- Guide the graphics production team to ensure that product is as per quality standards.
- Do storyboard walkthroughs with graphics team, review course and suggest changes, modifications as required.
- Interact with the L&D trainers during delivery of a learning program (either TTT or pilot or on-going to guide, instructor, clarify doubts).
Requirements :
- Processes for development of courseware for different training mediums (especially, web-based training)
- Exposure to and awareness of industry-accepted standards for training design, development, and delivery
- Familiarity with use of authoring tools or review of courses developed using authoring/rapid development tools such as Articulate Storyline and Captivate
- Learner Profiling
- Research and training needs analysis capabilities
- Knowledge of instructional design principles, practices, and adult learning theory
- Knowledge of various Instructional media tools
- Knowledge of various assessment methodologies
- Ability to create new media training such as the development of mobile learning - videos, infographics, interactive PDFs, podcasts, etc.
- Planning, organising and time management
- 5-6 years work experience in training development, especially in e-learning/online training domain (with involvement in developing creative training content, for example, scenarios, stories, games, animations, etc)
OR
Up to 6-7 years work experience in Learning and Development function, with 2 years in insurance domain and/or facilitating the experience.
Salary Offered : 8-10 LPA
