Job Title: Manager - Learning & Development - Digital
Location: Mumbai
Role Overview:
Looking for an L&D specialist with 5+ years of relevant experience in managing the end-to-end learning & development process for the organization. The position would have a straight line reporting to the HR Head and a dotted line to the CEO.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working with HR, Business Heads and the CEO to identify training needs and trends within the organization at three levels, namely:
a) Individual Competency Development with reference to functional skills as well as soft skills.
b) Product or Process specific training for select teams/individuals.
c) Organizational Development programs including company-wide roll-outs.
- Designing, both in-house and with expert third parties, solutions which include a blended approach to learning such as coaching, classroom training, one-on-one sessions, experiential learning & e-learning etc.
- Delivering these blended solutions and training sessions to relevant stakeholders and designing and putting in place mechanisms to measure and improve the effectiveness of programs.
- Developing the organization-wide Training Plan & Calendar.
- Establishing and tracking key metrics such as planned vs actual Training Man-days/Man hours etc.
- Preparing periodic reports for the Management in conjunction with HR.
- Management of the training budget in conjunction with HR.
Key Experiences, Skills, Knowledge, and Education:
- MBA or an equivalent degree from a reputed institution.
- 5+ years of experience in progressive and people-oriented organizations.
- Should have been a part of a larger Talent Management function at some point during one's career.
- Experience of designing and delivering a variety of training solutions including soft skills would give the individual a definite edge.
- Experience of partnering with third parties is essential.
- Budget management knowledge & experience.
- A strong communicator, both in written and spoken communication.
- Highly organized, a self-starter and a team player.
- Ability to influence peers as well as senior colleagues.
- Last but not the least, proven execution capability.
