Manager/Lead Manager - Data Governance - BFS

Job Description:

Skills & Competencies required -

- Experience in data quality, data governance, data modelling, data profiling, data management, data analytics. Preparation and Data Ingestion

- Should be well versed with the concepts of data modelling, warehousing and ETL concepts

- Must be familiar with the collections systems and business

- Good knowledge of handling multiple file types (Text, Binary, EBCDIC, delimited, excel etc.) on platforms like (Linux, Windows, Oracle, DB2 etc.)

- Proficient in techno-functional role and providing customized solutions involving finalization of product specifications and selection of appropriate techniques

- Good knowledge on data ingestion automation, data validation checks. Should have development experience of Hadoop (HDFS & Map Reduce), Hive, Sqoop, HBase etc.

- Have good understanding of business logic, good communication and negotiation skill for Business and Stakeholder Management.

- Should be an expert in driving the deployment of data projects from extraction to ETL to reporting and automation

- Experience in data quality, Collibra, data governance, data modelling, data profiling, data management, data analytics.

- Experience in managing data / analytics deliverable and teams or a Consulting experience in the data/analytics space

- Overall experience of 5+ years in in Banking/ Financial Services

- Strong Driving & Navigational skills

- Proven track record of mobilizing the right resources and delivering the outcomes in a matrix structure/ organization. A very strong track record of ownership and accountability will be key to the success of this role.

- Experience of working in an Agile framework

- Highly effective in narrating the analytical output to stake holders, draw agreement on business actions or formulate impact strategies.
