Key Accounts Manager Industrial Background/Exposure - Facility Management Organizations/Security Services/Any Other Services Organization Role/Scope Manager / Sr. Manager - Sales & Business Development Primary Responsibilities: Client Relationship Management: - Develop and nurture long-term relationships with key clients. - Serve as the main point of contact for key accounts and address any inquiries or concerns promptly. - Understand the clients' business objectives, challenges, and needs. Account Planning and Strategy: - Develop strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and objectives. - Identify opportunities for growth and upselling within existing accounts. - Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored solutions that meet client needs. Sales and Revenue Generation: - Meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals set for key accounts. - Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and drive revenue growth. - Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients to maximize profitability. Cross-functional Collaboration: - Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure seamless execution of client strategies. - Communicate client needs and feedback to relevant teams to drive product or service enhancements. - Coordinate with sales support functions to ensure timely delivery of products or services to clients. Client Advocacy: - Act as a trusted advisor to key clients, providing insights, recommendations, and solutions to help them achieve their business objectives. - Advocate for clients internally, ensuring their needs and priorities are understood and addressed. Performance Monitoring and Reporting: - Monitor key account performance against sales targets and KPIs. - Prepare regular reports and presentations for internal stakeholders and clients to track progress and communicate results. - Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities and areas for improvement. Risk Management: - Proactively identify and mitigate risks that may impact client relationships or revenue generation. - Address any issues or challenges that arise with key accounts in a timely and effective manner. Continuous Learning and Development: - Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities. - Continuously develop skills and knowledge through training, workshops, and networking opportunities. Customer Satisfaction and Retention: - Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by delivering exceptional service and support. - Proactively address any issues or concerns raised by clients to maintain strong relationships and promote retention. Strategic Planning and Forecasting: - Contribute to the development of overall sales and business strategies based on market insights and client feedback. - Provide input into sales forecasting and budgeting processes for key accounts.
