Manager - IT Infrastructure - Pharma Manufacturing

Required an individual who has extensive experience of IT Infrastructure in a Pharma Manufacturing Plant/ Manufacturing Industry.

Location: Chandigarh

Education: Holds a degree in IT (B. Tech. in IT or CS) or related discipline.

- Extensively worked on security i.e. data center, application, LAN/WAN & Cybersecurity and on data center including hyper coverage technology

- Worked on virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI)

- Identifying and acting on opportunities to improve and update software and systems along with developing and implementing IT policy and best practice guides for the organization

- Providing direction for IT team members, Vendor ECO system management

- Responsible for overall system and infrastructure availability and develop a resilient infrastructure to reduce failures.

- Responsible for day-to-day system administration, including management of internal network, VPN, Microsoft Active Directory (AD) and system backups.

- Responsible for management of the rollout and support of desktop devices, including laptops and printers, and productivity tools such as Outlook and MS- Office.

- Maintains server uptime consistent with Business goals and metrics, in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows servers, Active Directory (Design, Security, and Administration) along with strong working knowledge of Internet Protocols, networking, mail delivery systems, DNS, SMTP, mail applications required.

- Must have exposure on the firewall, router configuration, management and monitoring & SD-WAN

- Establishing networking environment by designing system configuration, directing system installation, defining, documenting, and enforcing system standards.

- Maximizing network performance by monitoring performance, troubleshooting network problems and outages, scheduling upgrades and collaborating with network architects on network optimization.

- Securing network system by establishing and enforcing policies, and defining and monitoring access.

- Reporting network operational status by gathering, prioritizing information and managing projects.

- Configuration of routing and switching equipment.
