- Develop a robust investor relations strategy and framework; Develop investor confidence and belief in the company's vision and strategy for delivering the shareholder value
- Developing and regularly updating Investors presentations, with lateral thinking abilities to present the data / facts to investors in a clear, transparent and innovative manner
- Actively engaged with Buy side & Sell Side analysts, provide them proactive inputs for their models, reports etc. Maintain their models and keep track on their key parameters, co performance & stock valuation drivers etc
- Leading Quarterly Earnings releases/ppts, Annual reports preparation, drafting MD&A / Investors sections etc; Regular updates thru emails to investors
- Regularly developing/updating the Target Investors lists based on data analytics, peer group shareholder moments, sectoral interest / current preferences of large investors etc. and develop a multi-pronged strategy to target them
- Prepare & regularly update the Investors/Analysts' FAQs, Summary Data book etc on the company for the ready reference to management in investors meetings / calls
- Monthly/quarterly report / analysis on peer performance, shareholders moments etc
- Actively manage the NDRs, Investors meetings, Earning Calls etc
- Create and manage a strong reputation by demonstrating consistent and clear communication between internal and external parties
- Closely work with Corporate Communication, Secretarial & business teams for timely dissemination of information / ppts / releases / business updates to investors / analysts / stock exchanges 2
- Maintaining an active database of Investors, contacts, meeting logs, their key concerns/expectations etc and proactively retrieve the summary to prepare well for their next meetings/calls
M&A & Strategy inputs/support:
- Keep track on global M&A activities and opportunities in the sector and proactively updating management with detailed analysis, impact etc
- Keep active engagements with Investment Bankers / Consultants to proactively share the relevant M&A opportunities with the management
Business engagement:
- Active engagement with business teams for keeping them regularly updated on the key business / valuation drivers / ESG parameters,, monitored by investors / analysts and suggest the specific actions with sales/operations/sourcing teams & various departments.
- Regularly visit plants to get a good understanding of the developments /ESG actions & preparing updates/slides/reports on these to present to investors / analysts as well as keep sensitising the internal teams on investors / analysts' expectations. This two-way communication strategy and engagement with business is critical
- Proactively analyse the present financial trends, competitor behaviours/actions, shareholder issues, regulatory changes etc, that could impact the business
Proactive and regularly updating & presenting to CFO/management on:
- Market insights; Peer analysis, keep track on their activities/news/business actions/M&A/Shareholders moments etc
- Development and screening of Equity Capital Markets (ECM) & Debt Capital Markets (DCM) in India and globally
- Regulatory Framework related to ECM & DCM, advise on its impact, suggest the actions/solutions on capital structures
