Manager - Investment & Debt Syndication

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Investment and Debt Syndication Manager to oversee the company's investment portfolio and financing activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing funds, negotiating deals, and managing relationships with various stakeholders to optimize returns and mitigate risks.

Key Responsibilities:

- Investment Analysis: Conduct comprehensive analysis of potential investment opportunities, including financial modeling, risk assessment, and due diligence.

- Deal Structuring: Develop and structure investment deals to maximize returns and minimize risks, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.

- Capital Sourcing: Identify and evaluate sources of capital for investments, such as debt financing, equity financing, or syndicated loans, while maintaining a balanced capital structure.

- Negotiation: Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with lenders, investors, and other parties involved in investment transactions to optimize financing arrangements.

- Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with banks, financial institutions, investors, and other stakeholders to facilitate investment and financing activities effectively.

- Debt Syndication: Manage the process of syndicating debt by coordinating loan arrangements from multiple lenders for a single borrower, ensuring efficient execution and compliance with regulatory requirements.

- Risk Management: Develop and implement strategies to identify, assess, and mitigate investment and financial risks, including interest rate risk, currency risk, and credit risk.

- Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and procedures governing investment and financing activities to mitigate legal and regulatory risks effectively.

- Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular reports and analysis to senior management on investment performance, financial metrics, and market trends to support informed decision-making and strategic planning.

- Strategic Planning: Contribute insights and recommendations to strategic planning initiatives by assessing investment and financing strategies, aligning with organizational goals and market opportunities.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field; MBA or CFA preferred.

- Proven experience in investment analysis, deal structuring, and debt syndication, preferably in a corporate finance or investment banking role.

- Strong financial modeling skills and proficiency in financial analysis tools.

- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders.

- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in finance.

- Demonstrated strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
