We are looking for a Manager to lead our Gurugram based Investment Data Operations Team.

The Investment Data Operations (IDO) team resides within the middle office and is responsible for managing critical data processes and providing high data quality that supports the investment management business. Connor, Clark & Lunn Financial Group Ltd. (CCLFG) manages a wide range of global assets and heavily relies on the output of the IDO team for a variety of functions including portfolio management, risk management, post trade analytics, and compliance. What You Will Do

You will play a leadership role in driving daily operational excellence while also embedding a culture of continuous improvement with the goal of improving business outcomes. You will have the opportunity to work closely with multiple business partners including portfolio managers, information systems, other operations teams, and external service providers. The IDO team works with a variety of business applications and technologies to carry out data and process management activities. Key responsibilities include:

- Recruit, motivate, and develop Gurugram staff into a high performing team that provides accurate, timely, and trusted data. This role reports to a Senior Manager, located in Vancouver Canada.

- Define and be accountable for operational processes that achieve business objectives.

- Provide leadership and support for data operations including handling issue escalations, operational problem solving, risk identification and mitigation, and stakeholder communications.

- Take a proactive approach to ensure the reliability of data processes and data quality checks, redesigning workflows as required.

- Work with business and technology teams to define and implement process improvements.

- Support the Senior Manager, to implement aspects of a multi-year Modern Data Platform initiative and other projects as required.

What You and Your Team Will Do

- Security Master: Maintain and validate accuracy of equity/fixed income/derivative data across multiple systems/databases to enable Investment Manager modeling, trading, and risk monitoring. - Process Manager: Manage and enable a myriad of scheduled processes for vendor systems, internal and market data transfers, valuation, and bench-marking data inputs to the investment process.

- Data Quality: Deliver timely data sign-offs to investment teams; develop and analyze data-quality exceptions and ensure timely resolution.

- Stakeholder Service: Provide analysis on operational needs, ad-hoc data/data-history requests for multiple business partners to support pre- and post-trade portfolio management functions.

- Process Improvement: Identify process/workflow improvements to increase operational efficiency, mitigate risk, improve data-quality, and increase service levels provided to stakeholders. Support other operational or engineering staff, senior or managers on a variety of ad-hoc tasks and projects.
